CCO reading circle

Description

CCO, i.e. communication as constitutive of organizations (Ashcraft et al., 2009; Cooren et al., 2011) is a rising theoretical approach in organizational communication. This view draws attention to the communicative constitution of realities from groups and networks to larger organizations or institutions. CCO view argues that all these organizations are subject to continuous processes of meaning negotiation. That is why organizations exist in and through language use, and through various forms of embodiments that get communicated in interaction (see Cooren, 2004; Kuhn, 2008).

This Troika event is the planning session for a reading circle of CCO related articles and books to be organized during spring 2013. Come here to contribute and influence to the selection of texts and to the timetable too! Date is a preliminary suggestion.
